Website SEO Audit Remedial Work
For 1-off custom web sites, we provide consultancy services on how to deal with the “red ink” issues raised in the review. This is to assist your designer to make any needed modifications to achive desired SEO outcomes. For mainstream CMS systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal etc, we may offer to implement coding modifications and applications for you.
We prepare a range of on and off-page content revisions for you, including but not limited to;
- Home and internal page meta-tags including Title & Description, Keywords
- Text Anchors / Bookmarks, Image Alt tags, Headings, First and Last Paragraphs
- Link to us page content
We do this for 10+ website internal pages, ensuring that all those pages support the “theme” established in the Home page. Some elements are dependent on the format and structure of the site. E.g. some CMS systems don’t allow editing of all elements.
Approximately one month after SEO work is completed, we will run a second SE ranking report (using the previous key words) to assess the ranking gains from the completed SEO process.
Our presumption here is that you or your web designer will be “plugging in” the above material that we supply. If you prefer us to do it, we are happy to do this, but there will (usually) be a modest additional cost.
SEO Project Time Frames
This is dependent on how busy we are at the time we are commissioned;
- Usually we get link-building underway within 2 – 3 days, but we spread it out over 4 weeks so that it does not look too obviously like an orchestrated SEO campaign.
- We process website changes and page amendments over a couple of weeks period for the same reason
Overall, we have a goal of not changing too much, too quickly – we don’t want the process to appear too much like an orchestrated SEO campaign…
The results of our efforts usually start to appear quickly – sometimes within 2 weeks as search engines find and assess the page content changes, and new links to your site are found and credited to you. The full benefits of the work that we do will not become apparent for 10 – 12 weeks. The time delay is because it takes link submissions a while to filter through due to the speed (or lack thereof) with which some directories process backlogs. Then, the search engines must find and index those links, and eventually add them to your incoming link score card.
