SEO Case Studies

SEO Case Studies : Search Engine Optimisation Results

SEO Case Studies show the effects of;

  • Careful on-site optimisation of main page contents (SEO) on search engine ranking results.
  • Building quality 1-Way Incoming Back Links containing relevant keywords / phrases in Link Titles & Descriptions, with links located on pages containing content relevant to the theme of your site.

There is no magic bullet involved, just attention to detail. There is also no immediate gratification. The full benefits of the SEO efforts, and link-building amendments, will take 3-4 months to be fully realised. However, we can clearly demonstrate the correlation between the efforts undertaken and positive results achieved.

If your site contains decent, useful and relevant content, and it is properly organised and described, and has lots of incoming links from “trusted” sites, then the site is likely to achieve its full potential. If your site is clearly an authority on its specific topic or theme, with large volumes of well organised content, then excellent rankings are assured.

Bottom Line on Time to Success is This

There are several SEO case studies listed above, showing quite clearly how the Time-line / Results graph goes. If its an existing site which has been around for a year or more, we usually achieve;

  • Demonstrable ranking increases within 4 weeks due to on-page and off-page content optimisation,
  • A further demonstrable increases over the following 6-12 weeks as 1-way backlinks to the site from web directory submissions take effect.

Lead Time: As you will see, full results take a little time to achieve – the page optimisation edits can be done very quickly, but the directory submission process needs to be spread over several weeks. Google records the dates that links are located, and too many in too short a time may trigger an alarm – e.g. we don’t want the process to look like a major SEO campaign! ;-) and/or burst Google’s link filter threshold in the process!

New Sites and Optimisation:

Because of the Google “sandbox” probationary period that the majority of sites end up in, its important to get a page or two up on the Domain as quickly as possible. Even if its just a 1-page brief outline of what’s “Coming Soon,” it gives Google a chance to find it, and get it in the system. The sandbox period can last 6 or more months, and commences the moment Google finds the site. The sooner you can get this process started, the sooner you get out of it! :-)  Once a site has a page or two online, start posting links to the Domain to ensure its found quickly. Adding a proper Google Sitemap which specifies relative page importance, update frequency etc is also a useful tactic. Update this at every site update point to ensure prompt re-indexing.
